Cabinet Heater


Cabinet heater is sometimes called enclosure heater, or anti condensation heater. They are used to protect customer cabinet/enclosure against problems brought on by temperature variations such as condensation. Sinomas offers several innovative cabinet heating solution, standard or customized, standstill or with fan circulation. All of them make use of silicone heating technology. The silicone rubber heaters are attached to the anodized aluminum plate or profile by factory vulcanization or with PSA (Pressure Sensitive Adhesive). The customer can attach the customized silicone heaters on their own frames as well.
Compared to traditional open wire cabinet heaters (e.g.Stego type), they have the following advantages:
- Design flexibility We can design heaters that will fit the customer enclosure best regarding the space limit, mounting, power demand, thermal control etc.
- Hermetically sealed heating element The heating elements are fully sealed in layers of silicone rubber which keep them isolated form the air and moisture. The heating elements of Stego cabinet heaters are covered but not sealed. Oxidation of heating wires is inevitable during their operation. Apparently our products will have much longer life time than Stego type.
- Larger heating area The heating elements of Stego cabinet heaters are inserted into a small slot in the center of the aluminum profiles. The heat is generated from a very small area. This means very high operation temperature in the core. This further reduces their lifetime. The heating elements of Sinomas cabinet heaters are bonded tightly on the surface of the aluminum profile/plates. The surface load is much lower. Hence they will run cooler and last longer.

Type 3: Customized Enclosure Heater
As a big difference from other suppliers, Sinomas can supply fully customized heaters that exactly fit customer applications, from small enclosures to big cabinets. It may take weeks, but not months. They are not the cheapest, but definitely at the lower end of price.
