Heating Blanket

Heating blanket is big and often standard sized silicone rubber heater that may easily be wrapped and secured around drums, pails and tanks. The heating blanket is made of fiberglass reinforced silicone rubber laminated around a nickel alloy circuit. This construction provides an even heat transfer, which keeps contents at desired temperature and viscosity and limits scorching or degradation of sensitive contents.

Drum heating blanket is built to be tough, long lasting, and resistant to chemicals. Because few materials stick to its silicone rubber with fiberglass reinforced construction, it is easy to clean.  When not in use, it rolls for convenient storage.

Drum Heating Blanket is available for both metal and non-metal (poly or plastic) drums. The difference lies in the watt density. Metal version Drum Heating Blanket cannot be used on non-metal drums due to their higher watt density which will melt non-metal drums; however, nonmetal version Drum Heating Blanket may be used on metal drums if the longer heating time is not a problem.

Optional, molded-in thermostats are full-range adjustable and limit the temperature of the Drum Heating Blanket itself, not the contents of the drum. Several factors affect the actual temperature of the drum contents, including thermostat setting, heater wattage, type of contents and ambient temperature. Multiple heaters may be needed for some applications.
